I am currently a Product Designer working on Microsoft Teams. Before that, I designed at Capital One and a few startups. As a self-taught designer, I strive to approach problems from a holistic perspective, I have a knack for crafting pixel-perfect and intuitive experiences.
Outside of my regular 9-5, I like to give back to the community by mentoring other designers, speaking at events, and judging at design hackathons. I also teach UX design at BrainStation. and George Brown College.
When I'm not designing, I like to sing karaoke, watch anime, write music, travel, take film pics, draw in my sketchbook, take naps, try out new recipes, eat ice cream, read books, go on walks, go to concerts, do pilates, struggle at the gym, and what not.
Growing up, I was constantly exposed to different avenues to express myself creatively. Whether it’s through fashion, fine art, or interior design (aka picking out furniture for the house), I was always encouraged to think outside the box.
In my free time, I like to play with various mediums. I recently started dabbling in embroidery and 3D rendering :)
Gordon Ramsay would probably yell at me in the kitchen, but I really enjoy cooking and baking, and I’m extra happy when other people enjoy my food.
Whenever I have the time, I like to try out new recipes and feed my friends and family.
I love meeting doggos on the street and capturing the moment. I even have an instagram showcasing my collection. Check it out here @lofi.inu
